Prescott Farmers Market takes place on Sunday this week.

On Friday, November 16, 2018, at about 12:15 PM, a male driving a black sedan was traveling westbound on State Route 69 when his vehicle collided head-on with a box truck near Enterprise Parkway. Prescott Valley Police officers, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA), and Arizona Department Of Transportation (ADOT) responded to the scene of the collision.

Witnesses stated the male driver of the black sedan crossed from the eastbound fast lane of State Route 69, crossed over the center lane, and collided with the box truck that was traveling in the westbound fast lane. The driver of the sedan was flown to John C. Lincoln Medical Center with reportedly serious injuries but non-life threating. The driver of the box truck was not injured.

The Prescott Valley Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the collision.

With increased traffic on our streets around the holiday season, the Prescott Valley Police Department encourages all drivers to be alert while traveling on roads and highways.
