Chances of Precipitation Thursday & Friday
Featured

It might snow again this week.

OK, now give me a break! I get into work today and my colleagues are ragging me about the bust for last Thursday night! But we weather-guessers have thick skins, and besides, being persecuted is occasion to “rejoice and be exceedingly glad”. Most areas around Prescott received 1-4 inches of the fluffy white stuff from this system. And, by the way, it surprised the NWS as well. So that storm added a little much needed excitement to the rather pedestrian weather regime that we are currently in.

Weather Forecast:

For this week, breezy and cool conditions will continue through mid-week, with highs in the low-mid 50s. A modest weather system looks to bring increasing chances for precipitation Thursday and Friday, along with gusty winds. Dry weather and lighter winds return for the weekend. In order to silence the critics, I am predicting between 0 and 100 inches of snow for this system. However, the NWS is predicting a 50% chance of snow showers Thursday night.

Additional notes for the weather nuts out there:

Nothing for this week. Working to recover my dignity.

Have a great week, and go easy on the messenger.
