Professional Writers of Prescott Meeting to Assist Those In Need of Help Writing A Book

On Wednesday, August 23rd at 6:00 PM, the Professional Writers of Prescott will hold its annual "Birds of a Feather" meeting at the Prescott Valley Public Library Crystal Room. Participants will form into small discussion groups by genre, e.g. thriller & suspense, romance, memoir, science fiction & fantasy, poetry, history, etc. to share experiences specific to their category. As always, PWP's monthly meetings are open to the public, so non-members are encouraged to attend.

Are you stuck starting your romance novel? Do you have questions about writing dialog or building tension for a mystery? Are you in a jam about how to develop characters for a Tweens book? Whether you've been writing for a while or just thinking about starting, this is an opportunity to connect with others working in the same genre and learn from collective experience.

Professional Writers of Prescott, a 30-year-old organization, and also known as Prescott Writers, is a network of published and non-published writers and editors who live in the “Quad-Cities” - Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and Dewey/Humboldt, and in the Verde Valley - Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Cornville, and Clarkdale, in Yavapai County, Arizona. We aim for the highest expression of our craft and are dedicated to sharing our expertise with less experienced writers.
