Alleged sexual predator was arrested today in Klamath County, Oregon.

He was considered Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted, a suspect charged with crimes against children.

But, shortly after 3 pm today, it was announced that, "...within the last 2 hours, YCSO detectives learned Eric McNeill was located and arrested in Klamath County, Oregon, by US Marshalls."

Current details are sketchy at this time, but they will be released as they become known.

YCSO would like to thank all media outlets for their assistance in this matter.

Here is the original release on this individual, from August 29:

PRESCOTT, ARIZONA - ERIC GEORGE McNEILL, 64 YOA, is wanted by the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office for numerous offenses against children including, sexual assault, kidnapping, and child molestation in Yavapai County. McNeill’s victims range in age from 4 to 17. McNeill’s offenses date back to 1972 with the most recent offense being reported in September of 2011. It is believed McNeill fled to Washington State in September of 2011 after the most recent offense was reported.

Persons known to McNeill have recently contacted detectives regarding his possible whereabouts in Washington State. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office believes additional victims, both in Washington and Arizona, are likely. A no bond arrest warrant was recently issued for McNeill.

Anyone with information about McNeill’s whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement agency. Those with knowledge regarding McNeill’s current offenses, or victims who have not yet come forward, are encouraged to call Det. Ross Diskin at 928-777-7348 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232. Tips leading to an arrest will become eligible for a cash reward.
